With the construction of the new road from Ciudad Colón - Orotina to the Pacific Coast, Costa Real will be only at 1 hour from San José (to be delivered December 2009). The proximity to the Capital City is what has transformed beach developments like Punta Leona, which started 20 years ago as an option for a beach house, and today has a high percentage of permanent residents.
